FaithLegacy started with a simple, painful realization: most Christians don't wrestle with the Bible because their faith is weak. They wrestle with it because no one ever handed them the roots.
We spent years watching sincere, committed believers quietly give up on half their Bible — skimming past Leviticus, dreading Numbers, setting down the Old Testament because the God in those pages didn't seem to match the God they thought they knew. Eventually we asked a harder question: what if the reader was never the problem? What if it was the method?
That question is why FaithLegacy exists. Not to hand you another reading plan that turns your walk with God into a checklist. Not another commentary so dense it makes you feel like you need a seminary degree just to open it. Just something simpler: the roots. The story behind each of the 66 books — who wrote it, when, why, and what was actually happening in that ancient world — explained in plain language you can grasp in under five minutes.
We serve believers from every denomination and tradition. Our only allegiance is to the whole of God's Word — and to helping you finally understand it.
The Bible isn't one book. It's a library of 66 ancient writings, composed across thousands of years, in languages and cultures that feel like a different planet from our own. Reading it without that historical and cultural backdrop isn't a sign of weak faith — it's a comprehension gap. And it's one that's been quietly pushing good people away from Scripture for generations.
Statement of Faith
We publish this openly so you always know exactly where we stand. Every FaithLegacy resource is built on this foundation — grounded in Scripture, and committed to the whole counsel of God's Word.
The Holy Scripture
We believe the Bible — Old and New Testaments alike — is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God, and the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21). We hold to the whole counsel of God and do not teach or endorse any material that contradicts, waters down, or reinterprets its plain meaning.
The Nature of God
We believe in one God who exists eternally in three co-equal Persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each is fully God, distinct in role, yet one in essence, will, and nature (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Deuteronomy 6:4).
The Person and Work of Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. Conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, He lived a sinless life, died on the cross as the atoning sacrifice for the sins of all who believe, rose bodily from the grave on the third day, ascended to the Father's right hand, and will return in glory to judge the living and the dead (John 1:1–14; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:11).
Salvation
We believe salvation comes by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone — never by human effort, merit, or works of the law (Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 3:23–24; Titus 3:5). Real, saving faith produces fruit that looks like repentance, but that fruit is never what makes us right with God.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit lives in every believer from the moment of salvation, convicts the world of sin, and guides, strengthens, and sanctifies believers throughout their walk with Christ (John 16:8; Romans 8:9–11; Galatians 5:22–23).
The Church
We believe in the one, universal Church — the body of Christ — made up of everyone who has genuinely placed their trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior. We serve believers across denominational lines, holding to no single tradition, because our unity is in Christ and His Word.
The Return of Christ
We believe Jesus Christ will return personally, bodily, and visibly. We hold this with full confidence, while staying humble about the exact timing and sequence of how it will all unfold.
Eternal Life and Eternal Judgment
We believe in the bodily resurrection of all people — the saved to eternal life in the presence of God, and the unsaved to eternal separation from God (John 5:28–29; Revelation 20:11–15).
Our resources exist to help everyday Christians engage faithfully with all of Scripture — not to replace sound teaching, but to clear away the practical and mental roadblocks that keep so many believers from God's Word. Our goal is always to point you back to the text itself, never away from it.
